KGET morning anchor Alex Fisher introduced Tuesday he might be leaving the Bakersfield, California NBC affiliate after almost a decade on the station.Fisher has been with KGET since 2016. His final day on the morning newscast is August 1.“KGET’s motto is working within the spirit of the Golden Empire. And I intend to proceed doing simply that when my time right here is over,” he wrote in a goodbye. “As a result of Kern County is my house and there’s a lot to be pleased with.”The station mentioned Anthony Vasquez will change Fisher on the anchor desk.
