7th Circuit Strikes Uber’s Attempts to Arbitrate Driver’s Independent Contract Suit

The U.S. Courtroom of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit sided with an Uber driver in a dispute over drivers’ unbiased contractor standing, ruling that Uber’s arbitration provisions have been ineffectual as a result of one of many drivers had opted out of the settlement.
