    ARRI has been fast to dismiss any recommendations that it’s planning to wind down its lighting enterprise. The considerations arose following ARRI’s determination to shut two factories in Germany.

    Manufacturing facility closures

    As we reported yesterday, ARRI has introduced that it’s closing two factories in Germany. The websites at Stephanskirchen and Brannenburg are two of ARRI’s lighting manufacturing unit, restore, and distribution facilities. Each factories are set to stop operation by the top of this 12 months, so within the subsequent few weeks. Whereas a 3rd of staff affected by the closures can be moved to ARRI’s headquarters in Munich, 150 folks can be made redundant.

    Nonetheless, Schwutke didn’t reply when PetaPixel requested if there could be any discount in ARRI’s manufacturing capability for lighting.
