Famend roboticist Rodney Brooks has a wake-up name for buyers pouring billions into humanoid robotic startups: you’re losing your cash.
Brooks, who co-founded iRobot and spent many years at MIT, is especially skeptical of firms like Tesla and Determine making an attempt to show robots dexterity by displaying them movies of people doing duties. In a brand new essay, he calls this method “pure fantasy considering.”
