Grants awarded to tackle cost-of-living crisis in Dorset

Organisations tackling the cost-of-living disaster in Dorset have been awarded £80,000 value of grants.Dorset Neighborhood Basis and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council supplied the cash to 23 native teams.The council stated it will pay for initiatives offering heat hubs, free meals, cookery workshops and cash recommendation.Council cupboard member Sandra Moore stated: “By funding these teams, we’re serving to to ease the cost-of-living pressures and guarantee important companies attain those that want them most.””The unbelievable efforts of volunteers and frontline staff make an actual distinction on daily basis, and we’re deeply grateful for his or her dedication to strengthening our neighborhood,” she added.The cash was supplied by the Division for Work and Pensions’ Family Help Fund.
