WCAU anchor Tracy Davidson informed viewers final evening that she is leaving the Philadelphia NBC owned station later this 12 months.“As I strategy my thirtieth 12 months at NBC10, I’ve been reflecting on the previous and imagining the longer term,” Davidson partially wrote in an e-mail obtained by TVSpy. “It’s with a full coronary heart that I share this information: later this fall, I can be stepping away from the anchor desk to focus full time on my public talking work.”Davidson joined NBC10 in March 1996 and has served as each a weekday anchor and shopper reporter with NBC10 Responds.In 2013, Temple College honored Tracy with the Lew Klein Alumni in Media Award. In 2014, she was inducted into Philadelphia’s Broadcast Pioneers Corridor of Fame. In 2017, Tracy was awarded with the Hero Award from Montgomery Youngster Advocacy mission.
