    With Meta efficiently poaching plenty of its senior researchers, an OpenAI government reportedly reassured group members Saturday that firm management has not “been standing idly by.”

    “I really feel a visceral feeling proper now, as if somebody has damaged into our residence and stolen one thing,” Chief Analysis Officer Mark Chen wrote in a Slack memo obtained by Wired.

    In response to what seems to be a Meta hiring spree, Chen stated that he, CEO Sam Altman, and different OpenAI leaders have been working “across the clock to speak to these with affords,” they usually’ve “been extra proactive than ever earlier than, we’re recalibrating comp, and we’re scoping out inventive methods to acknowledge and reward prime expertise.”
