Profound, the one-year-old startup that helps manufacturers affect how they seem in AI search, calls this phenomenon the invisible commerce layer: the hidden engine of product suggestions embedded in AI interactions. The corporate goals to offer extra perception into that layer with a brand new software introduced Thursday, known as Purchasing Evaluation. Purchasing Evaluation tracks how merchandise are surfaced, described, and ranked inside AI reply engines—a rising blind spot for retailers as AI assistants more and more change into the entrance door to on-line procuring.
